Rafting
The best in the Midwest! In spring and early summer, melt water and rainstorms swell the river's flow enough to thrill even the hardcore adrenaline sekers. Try Wisconsin whitewater rafting with Wildman Ranch at 715/757-2938. Surprisingly affordable safe and FUN! The people couldn’t be nicer. Really wild and challenging in April, May and sometimes June, with milder family-fun in July, August and September. It’s a 30-minute drive. Turn right onto Parkway and follow it to the end, turning left onto County Road C/F. You’ll see signs indicating a right turn.
Good alternatives: Thorton’s at 715/757-3311 and Kosir’s at 715/757-3431. You’ll pass both on the way to Wildman’s. Rates run around $25-$30/person – with longer trips and spring trips around $50.

Fishing Information
Excellent Wisconsin angling opportunities along with wilderness aesthetics.
License Information: Wisconsin residents and non-residents 16 or older need a license. To fish, children do not need to be accompanied by a licensed adult. However, if a child needs help to cast or reel in, make sure the helper has a license, because, in the view of the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources ( www.dnr.state.wi.us/org/water/fhp/fish ), you are now “fishing”. WDNR does have a presence on the waterways, so don’t fish without a license. Tall Oaks General Store and Country Convenience sell live bait and fishing licenses (approx. $18 for a 4-day pass, $40 for an family annual pass.) Hook Line & Sinker in downtown Crivitz is a full service source for sporting supplies.
