Cross Country Skiing
The Peshtigo River State Forest offers 8 miles of groomed cross country ski trails, and there is not fee to use these trails. The trails are groomed for both classical skiing and skate skiing, and range in skill level from easy to difficult.
There is also Paust Enterprise, offering 5 miles of groomed, tracked cross-country ski trails for both diagonal stride and ski skating located on 120 scenic acres. Paust offers equipment rental and is located 16 miles northwest of Crivitz. For more info please call (715) 757-3722.

Snowmobiling
Come enjoy the Northwoods on a snowmobile. Rentals available 7 days a week, located right on trail, hop on and off. Single and 2 person sleds available. Bill's Four Seasons (715) 757-2071

A shooting sport that through the use of unique clay targets simulates shooting at wild game in natural surroundings.

Ice Skating
If you prefer to spend your time on the ice, weather permitting, the State park will set up an ice skating rink on Woods lake this winter.

Ice Fishing
Ice Fishing is permitted on both of the State Park's inland lakes. Care should be taken to make sure the ice is safe before venturing out on any lake. Ice shanties have to be removed from the ice after fishing each day and no motorized vehicles are permitted on the ice of Woods Lake.
